My name is Michael Mazzei and I am an aspiring sports reporter based in Toronto with a passion for all things sports!
I am currently studying Sports Journalism at Centennial College. I also am an alumni of the Ryerson School of Journalism. I have worked on many facets of my personal brand during my time at Ryerson, including writing, broadcasting, radio work, podcasting, camera work, video and audio editing, and social media. I have always had a strong interest in these aspects of sports media and attending Ryerson was a tremendous experience in developing the skills needed to be successful in the industry.
Currently, I am a writer and GIF Maker for Maple Leafs Hot Stove, as well as a contributor for Editor in Leaf. Previously, I was the Sports Editor and a Video Producer with The Ryersonian. I am also was a Sports Editor and Video Producer for RUTV News and a writer for The Eyeopener. Additionally, I did a four month internship with Sportsnet 590 The Fan.
While hockey is my favourite sport, I also enjoy watching and covering baseball, basketball, football, and soccer among many others.
Thank you for visiting my blog!
